Parody in the Memoirs

 

This paper explores the presence and the function of parody in the memoirs of Bulgarian literature. The parody signifies for the self-identification of the author who is a hero in the event. The character built in memoir narratives is formed with the help of different methods - reduction of the hero, liken, balance and transformation of the character. Memories and memoirs by Z. Stoyanov, P. Ivanov, N. Stefanov, K. Velichkov, J. Gruev and P. K. Yavorov, are analyzed in this work.
