Founders are Christians: Bulgarian kings, feudal lords, monks, tradesmen. They are founders of the Athos monasteries too. The interior of Christian churches existing under the Ottoman rule, give an impression of human space – with frescos and icons with real value. They take care for the identity of Bulgarians who give money to painters to draw.
